Rights in the Content You Submit

Any and all blog entries, speech, statements, materials or works of authorship posted by you to the Blog (Content) are submitted under a non-exclusive, fully paid, royalty-free universal license to Flex-a-Lite.  You allow Flex-a-Lite to copy, distribute, re-publish, display and perform Content in any media now known or later devised.  You also allow Flex-a-Lite to modify and create derivative works of your Content and to grant to anyone (or multiple persons or entities) express or implied sublicenses.  Although blogs often do not make any money, the fully paid, royalty-free license gives Flex-a-Lite the right to earn money from your Content in any way that we see fit.  This includes posting it in a password protected site, publishing it in a book, making a movie, translating it into a foreign language, or making fun of the Content.

You represent and warrant that you either own or otherwise control all of the rights to any Content.  That includes all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input or submit the Content to the Blog.  You agree that you will not knowingly and with intent to defraud, or provide Content that contains materially misleading or false information. You also represent and warrant also that the Content you post does not violate these Terms, and that you will indemnify and hold Flex-a-Lite, its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents harmless from any and all liability and damages of any kind resulting from your Content.

We appreciate the fact that you submit Content, but Flex-a-Lite has no obligation whatsoever to use, exploit, retain or publish your Content, just because you submit it.

Conduct

This is Flex-a-Lite’s Blog, and Flex-a-Lite reserves the right to remove any Content posted.  Generally, we will attempt to remove Content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or otherwise injurious or objectionable to Flex-a-Lite.  However, Flex-a-Lite does not necessarily pre-screen or regularly review Content.  We retain the right and ability to remove or modify in our sole discretion any Content that we consider to violate these Terms or for any other reason.  Flex-a-Lite may also delegate this authority or any other rights or responsibilities of this contract.

Flex-a-Lite shall not be responsible if its filters do not catch and remove the allegedly offensive or objectionable Content.  Repeat offenders may be permanently blocked from future participation on the Blog. This may be done with or without warning.

You may not use our company name or trademark to endorse or promote any product, opinion, cause or political candidate.  If you imply or expressly state on the Blog that your personal opinion is endorsed by Flex-a-Lite, you will be blocked.

Content is the sole responsibility of the individual who initially posted it.  All opinions expressed by users of the Blog are expressed strictly in their individual capacities, and not as representatives of Flex-a-Lite, its owners or employees.

Flex-a-Lite will not be liable for any errors or omissions, loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of use of any posted Content. You agree to evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such content.

  1. Keep the discussion as close as possible to the topic at hand.
  2. Links are allowed in comments, as are mentions of other companies, so long as the links and mentions are relevant to the conversation. There is a difference between trying to offer helpful information to other site visitors and shameless self-promotion. The website moderator decides what is relevant or shameless.
  3. We reserve the right to apply automatic, computerized word filters to comment postings.
  4. Comments that attack a person will be removed/blocked and not posted.
  5. We do not review or edit for spelling, grammar or any other purpose.  If one part of a submitted comment violates a rule stated here, the entire comment will be blocked and not posted.
  6. Comments posted to this website and the Content are not encrypted or secured, and are available for unlimited viewing and printing by other visitors to this website.
  7. We will attempt to translate comments submitted in any language other English in the interest of protecting other visitors to this website. The comment will be posted in its original form; the translation will only be used to ensure that submitted comments comply with these terms of use. If a complete translation is not possible using reasonable effort and cost-free online services, the comment will be blocked, and not posted.
  8. Comments that use excessive amounts of capital letters or non-letter characters will be blocked and not posted. Overuse is defined by the moderator.
  9. Blog responsibly!
