What a week! Actually, it’s the months leading up to this week that have been unbelievable! The SEMA show is the largest trade show in the U.S. and it’s all about automotive specialty parts. For us, it’s where we announce our new products for the coming year.  And this year has been huge for us!

We’ll bring you more details on these products in the coming weeks, but here’s a rundown of the new items debuted this week at the show:

Flex-a-lite® Introduces Flex-a-fit® Direct-fit Radiator and Electric Fan Combination for the Jeep Wrangler

Flex-a-lite® now offers a direct-fit Flex-a-fit® 2-row radiator and electric fan system for  the ’87-’06 Jeep Wranglers (Part #60187). The Wrangler rad/fan combination replaces the stock 1-row radiator with 2-rows for better cooling, and replaces the stock belt-driven fan for more horsepower, quicker engine warm up and manual override for water crossings. The Flex-a-fit system also eliminates the risk of the belt-driven fan contacting the fan shroud when the body and chassis flex while off-roading.

Flex-a-lite® Introduces Flex-a-fit® Direct-fit Radiator and Electric Fan Combination for First Generation Camaros

Flex-a-lite® now offers a direct-fit Flex-a-fit® radiator with patented extruded side tanks for the popular ’67-’69 Camaros. The radiator and fan combination (Part #52187) includes Flex-a-lite 16-inch Black Magic X-Treme electric fan and adjustable electronic controller and air conditioning relay. The radiator and fan combination replaces the stock belt-driven fan for more horsepower, quicker engine warm up and cockpit control of the fan.

New Flex-a-lite® Flex-a-CHILL Protects Your Cooling System and Helps Keep Your Engine Cool

Flex-a-lite® introduces its first-ever engine-coolant additive. Flex-a-CHILL delivers cooling and protection that reduces the temperature of the cylinder heads without the need of additional coolant gels. It protects your expensive engine parts and radiator from electrolysis that corrodes the parts from the inside out. The formula also contains organic compounds that will prevent contaminates such as calcium and magnesium from developing into scales that clog your cooling system. Flex-a-CHILL is also a “bubble buster” for the water in your cooling system, providing improved contact and better contact means better heat transfer by as much as 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

New Flex-a-fit® Slim Profile Expands Flex-a-lite® Radiator Line

Flex-a-lite® has expanded its Flex-a-fit® radiator line with an all-new Slim Profile side tank. This new model reduces the thickness of the radiator from 3 ¾ inches to only 2 ¼ inches. This leaves more room in crowded engine bays where engine pulleys and accessories would interfere with a thicker radiator. Radiators come with or without electric fans mounted to them and include radiator mounting brackets.

Flex-a-lite® Now Offers 24-volt Electric Fans, Moving the Same Airflow with About Half of the Amperage Draw

Flex-a-lite® introduces six new fans designed to operate on a 24-volt electrical system. From 12-inch fans that pull 800 cfm to a dual 14-inch system that’s rated at 4,200 cfm, all with half of the amperage draw that a 12V fan requires. Single unit fans are fully reversible so they can be used to push air or pull air through the radiator. Fully shrouded fans Part #18024 and #35024 offer maximum core coverage and include a variable speed controller.

Flex-a-lite® Introduces Flex-a-fit® Radiator and Fan Combinations for UTVs

Flex-a-lite® now makes the Flex-a-fit® universal radiator (Part #63115AU) for the growing UTV market. These radiators are all-aluminum and feature the patented Flex-a-fit extruded side tanks that increase surface area by 234 percent for more heat dissipation. They come with a fully shrouded, low profile electric fan pre-mounted from the factory and mounting brackets to fit the Polaris Ranger, Yamaha Rhino, Kawasaki Teryx and Artic Cat Prowler.

Flex-a-lite has been manufacturing Flex-a-fit radiators for six years now. This year marks huge growth in our radiator product line with the introduction of the slim-profile version of radiator.

We need to get back to the show floor to talk to more customers and businesses, but you can enjoy the videos below that give an overview of the new products, and a look at the installation of the Camaro and Jeep Wrangler Flex-a-fit radiator and fan combos.
